I’ve always wanted to do a stop motion animation video (such as Tim Burton’s Caroline). Stop motion video is an animation technique to make a static object appear to move on its own. To create the illusion you move an object or objects ever so slightly, take a picture, and repeat the process until you have enough pictures to create the illusion of movement. There are 30 picture frames in  one second of video. For a 5 minute video, you’ll need to repeat the process above 9000 times! As you can see it’s a very painstaking and laborious process. I don’t have time to do something like this but I do have time to enjoy this ad by Olympus. This is an ad for the Olympus’ new Pen E-P1 camera, which I’ll talk about another day. Enjoy.
